Barefoot 77LP Spa Review
Review about barefoot spas

We know how hard it is to find a hot tub you really like. My husband and I decided to post this review about barefoot spas becuase… it is one we really like 🙂

We had a hot tub before this. It was called a dream maker. Cool name; OK hot tub. Barefoot spas; kind of a silly name; but AMAZING HOT TUB!

I love writing reviews, but this is my first barefoot spas review, and really my first review of a hot tub. I will say, if I DID review my old one, it would get 2.5 stars. Like I said… OK. Barefoot 4.5 stars = major improvement. Why I didn’t do 5 stars? Guess I’m a little stingy with my stars, AND… I will update later once I know the barefoot spa lasts longer than my old one. Then, I’ll bump it up another half star ok? At least I think I will. Pretty sure becuase I’m no engineer, but I can tell this thing is well built to the point where we saw them move and lift it to my backyard. They threw it around like it was a toy or like a piece of styrofoam . Thought for sure I would find a scratch here or a dent there… but nothing! Pretty impressive!

Now for my review about barefoot spas and the actual hot tub. I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY LOVE IT! How’s that?… It’s hard to think where to start. What I will do is keep it to three things I REALLY REALLY like about it. Then I’ll throw in one thing I don’t like too. Wouldn’t be a quality review without some pros and cons now would it?

Maintenance: There is close to NOTHING you have to do with this machine. It has a “state-of-the-art” ozonator purification system included and built in to the hot tub’s plumbing. (I learned a lot about this thing when I bought it). Barefoot spas calls it “Ozo”. Basically, it sanitizes the water, and balances it so I don’t have to. It does this process naturally using ozone gas, and UV light. Really really freaking cool! You know why? Becuase one thing I dont miss about my old one was that chlorine smell. AND no more dry skin. I hated that so much, but I put up with it to get in to some hot water…

The lounger seat: This is the seat where you recline back and put your legs up and head back. Kinda like a stadium seating movie theater where you recline and put on those weird glasses. Only with this seat, you’re not watching anything becuase your eyes are closed, and your entire body is submerged in to a hot water heaven with relaxing water massage jets up and down your back and all the way down your legs and feet… Also, no popcorn 🙂

Waterfall: The one I got is the 77LP. It’s in the P-series. That stand for premium I think? Anyway, I opted for this one becuase it has all the extras. One of those extras is you guessed it… Waterfalls! They are back lit with LED lights and fully adjustable stream to display las vegas like fountains all the way across the hot tub, or adjust to a small relaxing trickle. One added surprise I didn’t realize until I bought it is they light up!!! They have LED lights in the actual jet I guess… Im not sure how it works, but I do know they look fantastic at night. The entire stream or fountain of water gets lit up with whatever color you set. Very Very beautiful! I find relaxing to watch as well.

Negatives? I only have one… The cover. It has no bar to prop it up on the side like my old one. I forget what that style cover is called… Valet or something? Anyway, I kinda miss that becuase it’s not that the barefoot spa cover is too heavy, its just kind of cumbersome, and I don’t like putting it down on the ground when it’s not on. The other one I had it just props up, its easier to lift, and just easier all the way around.

Well, there you have it. As you can tell, I like to write, but I don’t want to make this review 3 pages long, so that concludes my review about barefoot spas. 4.5 stars = not too bad! Good job Barefoot Spas!!
