This spa is huge on the inside, because the bench style seating wraps all the way around the hot tub. There is no chase lay down seat taking up extra room. I like the extra foot room because I am 6’4″, and I’m tired of not fitting in things! I can stretch out all the way in my hot tub if I want! My wife let me get my way on this, because she actually wanted a really small 2 person style hot tub. When we were at the show, the salesman told us to get in one (without water in it) to try out the seats. We felt like sardines in the small one, so that one was ruled out. Even the medium size was tight for us. That is why we went with the big one.
Marquis and Barefoot spas both offered plenty of options on the medium size at the show, but the large size Barefoot was way better, much more comfortable when we tried it out, and a few other things we really liked.
I own a business and theres an old saying “customer service goes a long way”. Barefoot spas was just easier to work with. They gave us a couple discounts and we were sold.
Now we have the hot tub filled up and we’re using it. I do wish we got one of the cover lifters to help with lifting the cover up and over to the side, but we will get one. We didn’t realize the lifting mechanism is actually compatible with all covers. They adjust to the different sizes of covers. I don’t know why, but I thought I had to get a Barefoot spas cover lifter because we have a barefoot spas cover. We will get one on amazon or something because the cover is not all that heavy. It’s just kinda bulky especially for my wife to do it by herself.
