The only negative part of this experience was at the beginning and dealing with the electrical connections when I first hooked it up. After attempting it myself, I quickly realized I should’ve hired an electrician for this task. I worked with electrical and 220v before, but never a hot tub. There were no directions in the owners manual. In fact, I didn’t even get a manual. I had to print it out from the website. Anyway, there was a diagram, but no directions. The electrician i hired said it’s a regular hook up for a hot tub though. So I guess when you know how to do it, you just know?
My problem was I hooked up the ground wire in the wrong place. It supposed to go on the outside of the circuit board casing on a mount, but I hooked it in to the inside next to the other wires. It resulted in a blown fuse and a lot of patience in getting the part in the mail.
Ever since I got it hooked up properly, no problems and it’s running like a champ. Word to the wise. Hire an electrician!
