I had some complaints about barefoot spa customer service at first and posted kind of a nasty review on here about it, but I cant find the post I made, so I’m just writing a new one. Like I said, I got a bad impression about the customer service at first because they didn’t get back to me immediately. I was actually calling them at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and turns out the factory was closed. I talked to a young man named James that works there today. They are back open and looks like they are still trying to get caught up.

What I liked is James actually called me today, and I did not have to call him. As soon as I answered the phone, he was very apologetic for the delay, and he was very easy to work with. James took the time to make sure I had all my questions answered, and he was extremely thorough as well. He had walked me through a couple things on how to fix my hot tub because the service tech was a little backed up, and it might have been a few more days for him to get to my ticket. I was anxious to get my hot tub up and running again, so I went with it. James helped me succeed at this and actually helped me fix the problem with a very simple solution over the phone. He walked me through everything, and the whole process took about 30 minutes.

About an hour later, he even called back to make sure I didn’t have any more questions and to check on me. I can’t say that has ever happened to me before with any customer service line! Just wanted to say I can tell Barefoot spas really cares, and he wasn’t just trying to get on to the next caller and get me out of his ticket queue. My wife used to work in customer service, that’s how I know about this kind of thing. Normally that is how customer service works. Most companies just want to resolve as many issues as they can in one day, and they don’t take the time like James did over the phone to REALLY make sure he found the best solution for me.

My point is, James could’ve easily told me to wait until a service tech was available, but instead he went the extra mile, and spent this time with me on the phone today to help me fix my issue. This kind of service is hard to come by these days, and barefoot spa customer service is fine in my book form here on out!

I hope this review helps anyone considering calling Barefoot spas for help. If you are patient with them, they will be patient with you. If you find my old review on here, please disregard it because I was wrong. They took care of my issue and then some! Thank you Barefoot Spas, and please give James a raise!
