My Barefoot Spas 88NM Hot Tub Review

I couldn’t ask for a better spa than this and it is the fourth brand I’ve owned in my life. The Barefoot Spas 88NM is first-class. The size is much larger like the first one I owned. I have had three sizes all the way down to 2 person. The space is well worth it. The extra space is especially noticeable when I have more than 4 people in it. However, most of the time it is just me or my wife and I. Even then, the extra space is quite comfortable compared to others I have owned.

We opted to not get a lounge in this one as well. Pros and cons to the lounge seat. It takes up one entire side of the spa. It also takes out extra seating and takes up the coveted space. Everyone talks about the lounge featuring “full body” therapy. I get more therapy in my NON lounge barefoot spa, than any lounge hot tub I have ever owned! I think this is simply due to the quality of the jets and the power behind them.

Another bonus is the ozonator. I had it in 2 of the three spas I owned in the past. They did not work like this one. The barefoot spas ozo system actually works! I rarely put any chemicals in the water. When I do, it is just during heavier use. Even then, I don’t put much. The ozone actually cleans the water and the components as well! aside from filter maintenance and cleaning the side sof the spa, there really isn’t much I do. I like that part.

I don’t want to make this barefoot spas review too long so I will cut it short and post more later. SUMMARY: It took me over 10 years to find the right spa, but I finally did with barefoot spas and the 88NM!

  1. How old is your barefoot spas 88NM, and how many people can you fit in there? We are a family of five all school aged kids, two teenagers.

  2. We have the barefoot spas 88NM. The most we’ve had in there at the same time is 6 people. My wife, myself, another couple, and two small children. You could fit 6 adults comfortably. We just never have. I guess the days of entertaining and hosting big parties are over for us 🙂

  3. Seven of us got in our barefoot 88NM once. That was the record so far 🙂

I think it kinda depends on the size of the people too don’t ya think??

  4. Ok so sound like there will be enough room for all of us. Where did you buy your barefoot spas 88NM? We saw barefoot at an expo blowout sale…

  5. Yep! we got our barefoot at the same sort of thing. They did a factory direct sale, and we got one delivered right from the event. It was quick and easy.

  6. We tried calling to order the barefoot spas 88NM, but they said we can’t order it. We have to buy it at a show like when we saw it. They don’t know when they will come back, and they said there is no store in my area where we can buy it…Seriously? We live in Northern Virginia. Where can I buy, or drive to buy a barefoot spa from here?

  7. Don’t know what to say, but I do know my sister lives in Maryland and she went to a store to get hers. It was a few years ago. I will ask her if she remembers the name of the place. That shouldn’t be too far from you in northern va right?

  8. Yes, we can drive to Maryland. It’s not that far for us. Did you ever hear back about the name of the store where your friend bought theirs? I tried calling around and its like a needle in a haystack!

  9. Hi Martha. I am so sorry for the delayed response, and I don’t have the best of news, She said the store where she bought it went out of business, or moved or something. Wish I could help more… I wonder if buying online would be an option for you? Everything is for sale online these days. Since the barefoot spas 88NM is the one you know you want, maybe online would work for you? I would give that a try maybe?

  10. You just have to catch the barefoot spa show when they’re in town. It’s not like a regular store that is open all the time. They just rent out buildings for a weekend type of thing..
